Getting started with the Workshop

What the Workshop module does and how to find your way around it.

The Workshop module turns Eaglecart into a complete garage and repair management system. You use it to log every vehicle that comes in, record the work to be done, move the job through each stage of the repair, and hand the customer a professional invoice — all linked to your store's customers, products and orders.

You'll find everything under Workshop in the left-hand menu, split into three sections:

  • Dashboard — a live overview of your workload, revenue and team performance.

  • Jobs — the list of every job card, where you create and open jobs.

  • Settings — where you customise your repair stages and quotation terms.

How a job flows from start to finish

  1. A customer brings in a vehicle — you create a job card.

  2. The job moves through your stages: Pending → Diagnosing → Approved → Waiting Parts → Ready → Delivered.

  1. You add the services, parts, mechanic, photos and the customer's signature along the way.

  2. When the work is done you mark the job complete. Eaglecart locks the job and turns it into an order with a tax invoice you can print or send over WhatsApp.
